Meditation for Relaxation, Health and Wellbeing

meditation workshop in alburyThere are lots of articles around touting the benefits of meditation for health, and a serious amount of research to suppport the claims of improved wellbeing, but there also many myths, foreign concepts and supposed rules about meditation and how it should be done. 

Some people say that you have to empty the mind, others say you must repeat a mantra. And the sitting position! Do you have to be a pretzel and sit cross legged in the lotus position, or can you sit on a chair and still get the same results?

Whether you are brand new to meditation and just want to learn some of the basics, or you have meditated before and want to get back into it, come along and enjoy some personal downtime that will leave you feeling refreshed as well as informed.

We will;

  • Do some gentle yoga moves and stretching
  • Learn how to sit comfortably for meditation
  • Discuss how to manage the mind during meditation
  • Try different types of meditation
  • Learn the best times to meditate
  • Feel great!

Autumn Meditation Workshop - 2018

When: Sunday the 20th of May from 2pm till 4 or 4.30pm.

Cost: $20 (you can pay on the day)

An opportunity to go within, to strengthen, and be with your own true self.

Winter Meditation Workshop - 2018

Where: At 'The Space' in Alburywinter meditation in albury wodonga

When: Sunday the 8th of July from 2pm till 4pm.

Cost: $20 (you can pay on the day)

Winter is a wonderful time to go within, move into stillness, and just be. To live fully we must be present in each moment, and meditation is a gentle yet powerful tool, that can reveal this way of being. 

Spring Meditation Workshop - 2018

Where: At 'The Space' in Alburyspring meditation workshop in albury

When: Sunday the 2nd of September from 2pm till 4pm.

Cost: $20 (you can pay on the day)

Suitable for beginners as well as those of you who just want to dive into, and enjoy a delicious meditation space for your own nourishment.

Summer Meditation Workshop - 2019

This workshop is ideal for you if you want to chill out and re-centre yourself for the year ahead. We will use a range of different modern and traditional methods of meditation. You'll leave relaxed and refreshed. This workshop is fine for both beginners and more accomplished meditators.

Where: Central Albury - actual venue to be confirmed.

When: Sunday the 27th of January from 2pm till 4pm.
